By kind permission of Michael and Angela Lynch.

Red-brick house, originally built in the 16th Centurry and re-modelled in the palladian style in the early eighteenth century. Set in 70 acres of gardens, woods, parkland and paddocks.  The garden is currently undergoing major refurbishment and development under the supervision of the family, with the help of the head gardener, Simon Moore, who will be leading this tour for the SGT. Simon was previously head gardener at Wenhaston Grange, Halesworth, visited by the SGT in 2017. Several different garden areas, including a pool garden with exotic palms and agapanthus, and a 20th-century domed pavilion set within massed plantings. The family also has a passion for rare breeds – so a prize-winning herd of Red Poll cattle, Suffolk Sheep, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, donkeys, goats, geese and a flock of white and grey free-roaming Rhea complete the scene.

Refreshment will be served in the Summer House at the conclusion of the tour.

Toilets available in the Summer House and the Hall Office.

To book a ticket, email or write to the Chairman - you will be informed if any are still available, how to pay, and given directions.
